LANGUAGES THAT CAN BE USED FOR EXS and ENS (European Union)
The European Union has 27 countries where different languages are spoken.
This complicated situation is managed by CONEX for transmissions exchanged with the customs administrations at the first point of entry into EU.

CONEX sponsored a dynamic team in the 4L Trophy.
This rally which is open exclusively to European students is organised with the aim of escorting and distributing school supplies for underprivileged children and which enables more than 20 000 of them to study in favourable conditions.
To complete their mission successfully, the Baby b’l, made up of Marion and Virginie crossed sandy stretches, dunes and other hazardous conditions in their 4L which carried the CONEX colours and its ICS mascot.

To tighten trade security, the international community has introduced a large number of regulations with a view to keeping track of import flows. The latest regulation in Europe is the EU advance security declaration. This is an electronic system for managing security declarations for goods coming into Europe. 27 European countries are currently transposing the European Union regulation into their national legislations, at their own pace and in their own way. Our Canadian partner SEATECH successfully transmitted its first ENS declaration in the production environment on 28th December 2010, for a vessel sailing from Brazil and whose first point of entry into the European Union was France.

Thanks to ICS, CONEX begins 2011 with new contracts signed in Asia.
CONEX has signed two new agreements with major Asian carriers which have delegated their ENS declarations to the company starting from the 1st January 2011.
Whereas the EU Commission and Member States, including European Customs authorities, have officially granted logistics operators two additional months of grace to be operational for ICS, CONEX is ready.In addition, the beginning of January brings CONEX the confirmation of two new signed contracts with two major Asian companies, one specialised in maritime transport and the other, air transport, for their ENS declarations with Europe. |
