100% dematerialisation…
Conex, at the heart of excise movements EMCS |
Will you be operational from 1st April 2010? CONEX now offers EMCS via conex, the solution for the management of data flows of goods subject to excise duties circulating in the European Union..
EMCS, Excise Movement Control Systemis the new European computerised movement and control system for products subject to excise duties. The system introduces the electronic treatment of data in the trade of alcohol, alcoholic beverages, petroleum products and tobacco.
What is the principle behind the EMCS?
Dematerialisation of the Administrative Accompanying Document (AAD) has meant that it is now called the Electronic Administrative Accompanying Document or e-AAD. The EMCS sets new work methods with EDI data transmission.. |
| Within which time limits (in France)?
1st April 2010 :
All European operators must be able to receive intra-EU e-AAD messages and to transmit the corresponding electronic report of receipt. If the operator wishes, there will be the possibility of transmitting intra-EU e-AADs.
1st January 2011 :
The use of EMCS/GAMMA becomes obligatory for all intra-EU movements – during a 9-month transition period, paper AAD documents will be allowed to co-exist alongside their electronic equivalent. |
our solution, EMCS by conex
EMCS via conex recovers e-AAD data upstream from any software application. It also allows the operator the possibility of entering data directly.
EMCS via conex then communicates this information to all national customs servers in compliance with customs regulations, format rules, and rules of transmission coherence particular to each EU country
EMCS via conex is the guarantee of secure and reliable communication between the consignor, individual Member State systems, the EU EMCS system and consignees of the goods..
