 100% EMCS COMPATIBLE
The European Union’s EMCS (Excise Movement and Control System) project is based on the dematerialisation of the Administrative Accompanying Document (AAD) which will become the Electronic Administrative Accompanying Document (e-AAD). CONEX is responding to this project in accordance with GAMMA (the corresponding French national electronic procedure to manage the movement of goods subject to excise duties,) through its solution GAMMaccises.
This tool computerises the monitoring of the movement between Member States of goods subject to excise duties (alcohol, alcoholic beverages, and tobacco and energy products), and transmits them electronically via our own platform.
From 1st January 2011, using the GAMMA system will be obligatory for all intra-EU movements of products under suspension of excise duties. The use of the GAMMA electronic procedure for French operators performing national movements of goods under excise duty suspension is scheduled for 2013.
=> 1st April 2010: All European operators must be capable of receiving intra-EU e-AAD and to issue the corresponding electronic report of receipt. If the operator wishes, the possibility of issuing intra-EU e-AADs will be included.
=> 1st January 2011: the use of EMCS/GAMMA becomes obligatory for all movements between Member States.
During the 9-month transition period, paper AADs and e-AADs will be allowed to co-exist.

AN INTUITIVE STRUCTURE
